Death and Rebirth
My psyche juddering
Divine intercession
Tore me apart
Stripped me down
To my basest elements
Again and again
I screamed
Before I surrendered
Pain and Grace intertwined
My psyche juddering
Divine intercession
Building molding
Creating
My consciousness
What is it becoming
I laugh as the nails pound
Into the forming structure
For I cannot cry
I still cannot cry
My psyche juddering
Divine intercession
Soothes the growing pains
Holds me firm
When I am so fluid
Sacred fire burns
Old patterns and walls to nothing
And the nails continue to pound
Relentlessly
Building what I cannot see
Welcome I say to them
I am blind
I am blind
Yet so clearly I see
The suffering and the freedom
Each sacred
As one leads to more
Of the other
Through Divine surrender
Always through surrender
May I always be blessed
With this Grace
In the face of
every death and rebirth
Every breakdown leading to
Every expansion
Surrendered freedom
Boundless love
Ever my destination
I bow down
Make offerings of worship
To the Divine transmuting force
